So with the economy on the verge of collapse and the goverment giving away 900 billion to the very assholes who caused this mess we turn now to the latest outrage to boil the blood.  Pepsi is now offering an 8 pack instead of a 12 pack for the same price and calling it a savings for the consumer.  One lady was so moved she had this to say in the comments.

Never in my life has something ticked me off so much as to make me actually write a letter, but Pepsi has taken the prize. I cannot believe they think that getting rid of the 12 pack is a good idea. I loved diet pepsi and have purchased at least 1 carton a week as long as I can remember, but no longer. I just bought my first carton of diet COKE and it works for me! And if COKE goes to the 8 pack, I will go to the store brand and if they go to the 8 pack I will drink freaking tea! This little marketing ploy will do wonders for the rest of the beverage industry. Just out of curiosity, when was the last marketing campaign that received as many bitter complaints?
